Hieronder noemen we een aantal excursies die je tijdens je reis kunt doen (de omschrijving volgt nog). Je kunt de excursies al gelijk bij je boeking in Nederland boeken. Als je ter plekke wilt beslissen, dan boek je ze eenvoudig bij je chauffeur of het hotel. De prijzen laten we je weten bij het samenstellen van je reis.

Paardrijden is voor jong en oud. Je rijdt door lokale dorpjes en langs de Nijl. Het kost US$ 50 pp voor 2 uur, het maximum gewicht is 90 kilo.
Sunset Cruise
Most people want to visit the source of the Nile while being in Jinja. Once they are there, they are disappointed because there is nothing to see, except for a signpost on the source of Lake Victoria that says: “Source of the Nile”. Now there is a great sunset cruise on Lake Victoria. Not only will you pass the source of the Nile, but it is a birding tour, a sunset cruise + you can drink some cocktails on board. We believe this is a much better way to make the best out of it. Sunset cruise starts at 5.30 pm and costs $30,- pp.
Kampala
Fietstocht
Een erg leuke manier om Kampala te ontdekken is per fiets. Je start in een buitenwijk en je gids neemt je mee naar een schooltje, een lokale winkel, de markt, een bar.. gewoon leuke plekjes waar je zelf niet zou komen. Je fietst meestal op onverharde paden in een rustig gedeelte van de stad. Ook maak je een korte boottocht over het Victoria meer. Alles wat je wilt weten kun je aan je gids vragen en zo leer je gelijk meer over Oeganda! De tour begint om 8 en 13 uur en duurt ongeveer 4 uur.
Stadstour
Boek een georganiseerde stadstour. Je chauffeur/ gids neemt je o.a. mee naar de kathedraal, de enorme moskee, de oude taxi standplaats en de markt. Als je naast een souvenir markt graag een lokale markt wilt zien, dan kun je Owino markt bezoeken op zo’n 45 minuten rijden van Kampala. Je chauffeur geeft je dan een rondleiding over de markt. Bovendien vertelt de chauffeur sowieso veel over Kampala en zijn land, dus het is een leuke en interessante tour.
Winkelen
In Kampala zijn een paar grote winkelcentra waar je prima kunt winkelen. Naast kledingwinkels vind je er supermarkten, souvenirwinkels en leuke café’s en restaurants.
Bezoek Snake Park
The snake Park in Entebbe is a local project, whereby people capture snakes from villages that otherwise would have been killed. The Kampala snake Park is a home to most of the African snake species such as the African rock python, common bush viper, Jameson’s mamba, forest cobra, olive sand snake, twig snake, and green mamba. The delta area in Murchison Falls is stunning! It’s a mini Okavango delta. A boat trip to this section of the park is simply amazing! As well your best chance of seeing the spectacular Shoebill Stork. The boat trip leaves at 6.30 am and you will be back at 12:30. Breakfast is included as well. Costs are $60,- pp. Please realize that you can only do this activity when staying 3 nights at Murchison Falls National Park.

Koffie tour
In Sipi wordt veel koffie verbouwd. Maak een koffie tour op een plantage, zie hoe de koffie groeit, hoe het productie proces in elkaar zit en drink een lekkere kop Oegandese koffie! Deze tour kost US$ 15 per persoon.
Diverse dagwandelingen
In het gebied rondom de Sipi Falls kun je prachtig wandelen. Laat je gids weten hoe lang je wilt wandelen en hoe stijl de route mag zijn (dan krijg je ongeveer wat je wilt). Je wandelt langs dorpjes, naar watervallen en adembenemende uitzichten.
Visit the Karamajong Tribes: It is finally possible to visit savely a small region of Karamodja to visit the traditional Karamajong tribes (simular to Maasai). You can do it as a day-activity from Sipi Falls or create a full day on your way from Sipi Falls to Murchison Falls or Kitgum (+ a stop over in Soroti).
